Maple Park Fun Fest
2025 Toilet Bowl Races
Presented by: American Legion Post 312
Where: Main Street, Maple Park in front of the American Legion
When: Saturday August 30th 3:30pm
The Event:
Three person teams’ race head to head down Main St. Two pushing while one sits upon the commode, slalom through cones, at the halfway point members must rotate positions, finally slalom back to the finish/starting line. Each team will have two chances to race.
Cash Prizes: Sponsored by Andersen Plumbing and Heating
- 1st place – $100
- 2nd place and Best in Show – $75
- 3rd place – $50
Entry Fee:
- Through August 23rd – $10 per team
- After August 23rd – $15 per team
The Rules:
- Three member teams, two pushing, one siting on the commode
- Porcelain or ceramic toilets only, no plastic
- Push powered ONLY
- No assistant allowed. For example you cannot have; pedals, chains, dogs, motors, engines, hamsters, horses, goats, chickens, power wheels, plutonium, alien technology, mythical spells, jinxes, hexes, divine intervention, steam power, or magnets
- Drivers under the age of 18 are required to wear the following protective gear:
- Helmet, gloves, kneepads, elbow pads, and close-toed shoes
- Children and families will be present; please no profanity on the toilet racers, costumes or team uniforms
- Please use care and courtesy during the race. Racers with your commodes meet by the main stage @ 3:15pm
- The American Legion reserves the right to disqualify any racer determined to be unsafe or dangerous
